1954 to Current
1954 Nim’s Electric, Operated by Bruce Nim, moved into the Sanitary Market building in downtown Bothell from their location on the Seattle Highway, continuing selling electric appliances and electrical services.
Leroy, a former Lineman for the phone company, went to work for Nim’s Electric. By 1960, Bruce had retired and Leroy had taken over ownership of Nim’s Electric.
Roger went to work for his Uncle LeRoy at Nim’s Electric in 1975 at the age of 20 delivering appliances. Roger moved to the electrical contracting side 1 year later and started his electrical apprenticeship at 21. In the mid 1980’s, he moved into the office running some of the day to day.
After Nim’s Electric closed down in 1986, Roger Hill started Hill Electric Corp, working out of the basement in his Bothell House. Hill Electric was comprised of a select few journeymen from Nim’s. The new company quickly out grew the basement and Roger moved it down the road to Woodinville. Roger ran a successful business until he retired in 2018
Eric went to work for Hill Electric as an apprentice shortly after high school in 2005. He worked up through the program from Apprentice, to Journeyman, to Forman, to Project manager. In 2018, Roger Hill stepped down and retired for Eric to continue the business of electrical contracting.
At the end of 2018, Eric Pierce took over as owner and created Hill-Pierce Electric LLC, retaining the great electricians he has worked with for more than 15 years and maintaining a business built on trust, honesty, integrity, and quality work.
